Shellcamp Lake, fomerly known as Shellcamp Pond is a small lake in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire nestled in the quaint town of Gilmanton.  The lake is 145 acres, the average depth is 11 feet and its deepest point is approximately 15 feet.

Shellcamp Lake boasts many waterfront properties around the lake, some are seasonal cottages many are year round homes.
The Shellcamp Pond Dam feeds into Shellcamp Lake.  During the winter months the lake is lowered and the water is fed back into the dam. Each spring the lake is filled back from the dam.

Shellcamp lake is surrounded by several associations that also support the lake.  Shellcamp Lake accommodates swimmers, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, fishing, small craft boating and more. 

Shellcamp Lake Association is a private community goverened by a board who volunteer their time throughout the year.  There are three beaches for association members to enjoy. Two are  for swimming and one is for launching watercrafts. 

The beaches are a carry in and carry out facility.

Dogs are not allowed on the beach.  The  swimming beaches have buoys to define the swimming areas to ensure a safe area for the members to swim,  Their are no lifeguards at the beach, swim at your own risk.
